Neuspeed ECU Software Updates?

Does anyone know if Neuspeed periodically releases updates/revisions to their ecu programming (like GIAC and APR)?

Here's what Neuspeed told me...

Neuspeed rarely releases ecu programming updates, as they are happy with what they release for sale to the general public.

Updates (if there are any) are free to the original owner only.

If you bought the Neuspeed-chipped ecu used (i.e., second-hand), you are not eligible to get updates. If you want to get the updates, you would have to buy a 'new' chip from Neuspeed for the full amount of the chip.
