    Widebody with 18"s???

The time to get a bodykit is drawing near, and I have been intrigued by the wide kits i have seen out there. A couple questions:

    1) Would it even be worth getting the kit with 18"s on my car or will it just look like crap (even with big drop)

    2) Is there a place where I can buy the flared fenders or am I going to have to go to a shop to bang them out along with the rest of the kit.

    Thanks

    1. I would not be concerned all that much with the actually size of the wheel, 18" is pretty good for the B5, but rather the width of the wheel to fix your WIDE body.

    2. Here is a fiberglass kit for $3 - http://www.estrictlyforeign.com/asp/...egory=1&ID=358
it is fiberglass tho, look abs or purim.

I dont think wheel diameter is the issue...its more the offset or use of spacers that makes wheels on a widebody look good or not..

i'll have to agree with the others. Its all about the width of the wheel and the offset. I look forward to seeing the outcome of this widebody project.

I think these are 18's on the oem widebody

some of the most popular shops in LA use universal flares that you buy for really cheap and just mold them on to your fenders.. look on ebay there is tons of universal fiberglass flares for cheap.
