    They can fail and you to loose control of the car and make you regret not replacing them. They can do a good bit of damage of more then one fails at a time...

    I've seen an A4 "fall" before from a broken arm....not cool.
    i like my black girls clean and my white girls dirty.
    doesn't matter either way they're all out to hurt me.

    Well I dont think my car is hazardous to try yet. I just have the usual clunks when I go over uneven pavement at slower speeds. And I dont really have 600-800 bucks to throw at the car.

    Well from what I gather there is no right or wrong time. You car will develop clunking noises when you go over uneven pavement. I guess it all depends on how long you can tollerate those clunking noises. How many miles are on your car?

    I don't know if you were asking me, but I have 54000 miles on the car. I don't have any clunking noises, but I'll pay close attention to it.

    Yeah I think 54,000 is a little early for the control arms to go, but def. pay attention. For reference mine started making noises around 92,000 miles.

    mine started to sqeek but then that went away, but now they seem to knock alittle when i step on the brakes i only have 60k miles could it be something eles?(the nocking when i hit the brakes??)
