    Thumbs up E05 Fmic Installed

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
After reading all the posts here I decided to make the plunge for a new E05 Turbo & FMIC. I made an appointment with David at Eurocode Tuning. He is a pleasurable guy and he's glad for you to be there watching while he installs the stuff you want on your car. You can tell he really does knows what he's doing, so if you want to go down the street to Starbucks, no worries. But he's just as glad for you to be there joking around if you want. He even bought lunch!
Any way, David installed the E05 Turbo, FMIC, & DV on my car. Now, I only drove home last night and a little this morning with these upgrades. But, so far, I can tell you the car runs extremely smooth with no jerkiness and it is significantly more powerful. I like it. I can say the car has a healthy strong feel without the car feeling at all strained. It definitely doesn't feel underpowered.

I'll chime in another time when I've had more experience with this upgrade. However, for now I can say I love this upgrade.

You're right the turbo isn't that bad, I put my car back to stock after I sent back the T28, had to all that money I wasted in the installation!!! You notice an improvement w/ the Duals? I made sure Derrick sent you all the right stuff.

Yeah I wouldn't be suprised... that or my phone calls the other day begging for help on the install didnt help.

I joined the waiting list like June 20th or something...

I think I'm gonna paint my FMIC black though, for the sleeper look, I dunno yet.

And what will Dave @ EuroCode do when that E05 blows up? Answer: He'll probably charge you FULL RETAIL for a replacement. Wow, what a true businessman he is, I wonder when I'm going to see "ECODE" on the Nasdaq or Dow Jones when he IPO's (ROFLMAO). Or he'll blame your fuel line or something of that sort for catching on fire.

And it doesnt take a brain surgeon to install a turbo, fmic, and DV, you could have done it yourself... Monkey See, Monkey Do.

And I thought Microsoft robbed people selling Windows Upgrades and Service Packs (At least Service Packs are FREE) to replace older inferior and defective products...

Word of advice, stay the HELL away from that MAHA, it will prolong the life of your E05 from say... 2 months... to maybe 6 months (if you're lucky).

    Ok...i'll STFU now..

I guess Jeff doesn't like the E05. Personally, I expect to pay for labor. I also expect the person to know what they are doing too, of course. As I've read from this thread, as well as others (except for Jeff), Eurocode has satisfied customers which means he must be doing something right? Huh!
Regarding this turbo on the 1.8t, that's a pretty strong engine and I doubt this little bit bigger turbo is going to hurt anything at all or lessen the life of the engine.
Regarding the fact that the job can be done by oneself, personally I don't like working on cars, and prefer skilled people to do these things for me. Just my opinion.

i dont think that the motor is in question there's an unanswered question as to the E05 itself...

It's perfectly fine to pay for labor, but not from an imbicile. Eurocode has satisified it's customers putting on inferior parts and turbos, not to mention their work is simply "Monkey See, Monkey Do". I can have my 19 year old brother perform the same mods on your car, and maybe do a better job.

EuroCode is doing "something right" by making a shitload of sales on products that blow up and catch on fire on the owner's car as wall as some of his customers? Just because a local car dealership down your street is all over the ads, and makes a "shitload of sales", doesnt make them a "good" business. They could be selling lemons, POS', and not to mention shit that blows up. :)

Dave, I know you're reading this... Care to explain what "REALLY" happened to your car? If a fuelline can "mysteriously rupture", don't you think AoA would a class action lawsuit by now? You are the biggest lying sack of shit I've ever seen. So the Audi owners may not be as "mechanically inclined" as some other, please dont take advantage of people's ignorance to your advantage and keep the customers in your shadow and "bandwagon/FanClub". One day, ALL your E05's are going to blow up, and the PEOPLE WILL BE EDUCATED.

Like they say..."What goes around, comes around." and payback's a BITCH.

Care to explain the E05's blowing up?...and your car catching on fire? And PLEASE dont bullshit about the fuel line rupturing... WE WANT THE TRUTH (and some of here will HANDLE it).

Jeff, thanks for your further explanation.

Everyone else, may your turbos just keep on blowing and not blow up.

Foofighter, can you elaborate on the history of the EO5. I'm in the process of waiting for my install to take place on 8/14 and was wondering, after reading some of the post today if going to the KO4 would be a better compromise....

I'm not the person to ask about this. What i do know and people correct if i'm wrong is the E05 is a modified K03 w/ a different compressor wheel...the housing is made bigger to accommodate for the bigger wheel. But that's the extent of my knowledge of this turbo.

Pushing it??? I think he corssed the line a long time ago. Look at how many times you insults David and calls him names and he has never worked with him before. What kind of shit it that? I am sorry Jeff I wanted to play nice with you but you are just an asshole. You are talking shit about someone you have never dealt with and know nothing about. You need to shut the fu*k up.

Jeff, you know it sounds like sour grapes, or your maybe a competitor of Eurocode, maybe. It also sounds like you might be laughing at others misfortune. I doubt that's your true intention. Why don't you explain your viewpoint so we can understand where you're coming from instead of coming off like you're scoffing at others.

Not to flame Eurocode... but just want some FACTS and REAL answers. They BRAG about their accomplishments, some are pretty impressive to say the least. While they COVER UP and HIDE their negligence (turbos blowing up, cars catching on fire, you name it), yet still come onto this forum talking shit to people (directly, and indirectly like a little bitch), and then NOT reply to their PM's and replies. BE A MAN about it.

In this world, Mistakes are "OK", as long as we fess up and learn from it, to make sure it doesnt happen again, am I correct? That's how we all got this far. But trying to cover up your own negligence thinking the public is ignorant and blinded is NO WAY to run a business. If Garrett Lim himself can come on this forum and honestly explain to the people what happened with the failed PES T28 kit, people RESPECT that. But if you want to be sneaky and shady about things... that's not the way to go. E05's have been blowing up, yet it has been covered up like a government scandal, why is that? We only want the truth.

We only want the truth.

who's E05 jeff? again, like you said give us facts. now who's E05 blew up? do you know or just speculating, heard a story of someones brothers, cousins, uncle's friend? because every turbo,if abused does blow up. aren't you on your third K03 or something. so you should know that no turbo is indistructable.
