Caliper Color??

hey guys... gonna do my big brake upgrade tomorrow using OEM calipers. I wanna do one of two things with the calipers as far as paint goes. Either spice them up with a red or blue paint, or hide them a bit with a gloss black. Any thoughts? This is on a black 20000 A4 Avant 1.8T (black rack rails)

FYI: I plan on eventually blacking out the entire car ie: smoked lights front/rear, black S4 grille, S4 style bumper, etc.

Red, if you look at Benfica 09's car he has a similar set up of an all black car with red calipers. It looks sweet.

If the car is black, you go red, black or silver. but never colors like blue or yellow. No one wants a banana behind their wheels.

id go black on a black car. if you want a lil color go with red.

my only thought behind the black vs. red was that until I get some nice after-market calipers, I don't want to show them off. Maybe once I upgrade to a Brembo or Porsche caliper, then I'll go red.

the only color i really don't like on calipers is blue. doesn't seem to fit.

I did mine black. All depends on how subtle you want to be

that's what I figured. I'm not trying to be somebody I'm not... just want a clean look until I can afford another $750 for the caliper upgrade. Besides, I'd rather spend the money on some race wheels/tires at the moment and actually get on the track.

I just painted my ones silver and stuck a Audi symbol on them...nice and clean...

thanks guys! I really appreciate all the input. I'm doing my rotors tomorrow and will likely be painting out my calipers as well. I was leaning towards the black and according to the polls it's tied between black and red. I'll let you guys know what I end up with. As soon as I get everything done next week I'll get you guys some professional photos to see. I wish I could say I have some tight body work done, but the exterior, minus the wheels will be totally stock.

By the way, check out my post in the n.e. thread under "PA represent'n ". I'm headed out that way next week for 3 days and have nothing to do while my car is getting worked. Would love to see everyone's mods up close.
