Talking Good day for the Audi brothers (wheels, BWW)

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Yesterday the delivery guy came and brought 8 wheels and tires, all from edgeracing. It was like Christmas, no joke =P

I got me a set of 17" Flik Justice wheels (high gloss) and my brother got some 18" Flik Artics (black). Take my word for it, they look sooo much better in person, and while spinning!

Here's my swings and Fliks side by side...the Justices definitely don't look like normal 17"s, they look big...but this picture has it in front which makes it look even bigger. Either way, they're pretty

    30-40 minutes later:

    My brother's nasty 15" wheels:

Then he slapped these bad boys on

(Ugh sorry for the sun...washing it out)

    Some more shots:

(Don't stress yourself, he's getting ecodes shortly =P)

The brothers posing with their new shoes

    Good stuff!

    Looks great! Nice choice.

I agree with VTEC, the tires look big. Did you plus size correctly? The only reason I ask is that in your first pic, the overall diameter of the wheel looks much bigger compared to stock, when really, they should be the same. It's not really a big deal, but your speedometer and odomoter will be off.

Your car is really coming along great, nice work.

The 17" wheel looks bigger due to the design of the spokes...they make the wheel look like a 18" one...

I had the same comments before when I had the BBS SX 18", a lot of people thught that they looked like 19"s...

If his tire is 45 profile then that would be correct...

Wheels sure are an expensive mod but, the difference is always incredible.

Those were some good wheel choices too.

I don't have any dents, but I do have some scratches on my front bumper and were touched up.

Thanks for the compliments guys, I drove around today and everytime I saw them, I had a smile on my face. Rims definitely transform a car.

BTW, my tires are 225/45/17, the ones in the package from edgeracing.com. I got the Toyo Proxes FZ4, and the total cost (including shipping) came out to be a little over $1000.

Brings tears of joy to my eyes. I remember when my set arrived.
And props to edgeracing for having such a quality product at SWEET prices!

I already have H&R sport springs and Bilstein shocks...don't plan on going any lower.

My bro is still on his stock sport suspension but will be getting springs soon too.

Both bundles come at 899 + shipping (about 60), but with my Toyo Proxes FZ4, it was like 60 more, so a little over 1000 for me (about 960 for my brother)

brought tears to my eyes to see those rims finally on... and plus, me and joe were strugglin in the heat, oozing with sweat to put those bad boys on.

all in all, those fliks are just great wheels for the price. now, for the suspension, anyone have any sport springs for the quattro to sell me? =)
