ran outta gas today...hadda call AAA to save my stupid ass. *sigh*

the good thing...is that now i KNOW you have less than 10 miles when your gas meter hits 0. i think i went about 7-8 miles.

Did they give you 91 octane? Did you use the Audi Roadside? If that's the case...whenever I'm low on gas and have no money I can "say" that i ran outta gas and have them fill me up? hehe

i really doubt it. i called AAA cuz i have their roadside service not through audi. in my one experience with audi roadside(jeff's) they suck ass. when i started the car the idle was very rough so i'm assuming they used 87 oct. they did bring a flatbed though which was cool, even though i dont have quattro, its nice to know AAA cares =)

you can always get a flatbed with AAA, you have to request it when you call them, and the deal is that if when the guy comes they make the judgement that you didnt really need a flat bed, then you have to pay $20
this is atleast what they told me when i would call and get flatbed for my old slammed integra, i always got a flatbed and never had to pay the $20, once had a slight argument over it but was ended when i told the guy he could tow it with a regular tow truck if he wanted but that it was gonna cost him to fix all the damage that it was definately gonna cause

its just nice to know that they automatically sent out a flatbed instead of a regular tow just to bring me 2 gallons of gas. its nice to know somebody is remotely concerned about the well being of your vehicle other than yourself.

and to ripple, yeah im so dumb. the reason i didnt wanna stop is cuz my spoiler is taped on with bright green tape on a black car so i look like a ricer. i just wanted to get home and sit the car in the garage. i thought i had plenty of gas to get home but the car died about 500 feet away from my freeway exit...so close!

so i sat there for 20 minutes looking like a stupid idiot with a taped on spoiler. =( hahaha.

NOOB!!! I've run out of gas b4 in my VW... ON THE WAY TO THE GAS STATION. What a PITA, I had to walk to the station and buy a canister.

I've run out of gas once, back when I was really small with my dad. We had to walk off the freeway, not a fun time. Ever since then I try to avoid going way down below the E. I sometimes push the limits, but not lately. With gas a lot higher I seem to refill everytime it gets low, been working well for keeping the tank full.

i ran outta gas and called audi roadside (i was late for a car show, trying to stretch it) and had a great experience, they asked me what octane i wanted and got me 5$ worth of gas. guy came and i was on my way in 25 min
