    i'm planning on getting an a4 soon.

    what are some of the pro's and con's between the 1.8t and 3.0 model, besides the actual engine?

    Well, I beleive the 3.0 has minor difference in styling cues, but it's basically the engine that makes the diff in cars. Depending on what you want to do with the car, is going to be the deciding factor on which engine to get.

    If you plan on doing any engine modding the 1.8T is probably what you will want. If not the 3.0 will have a bit more luxury. STFA for more info

    I think me means differences like the chrome trim for the b5 2.8. I'm kinda curious too...

    i don't really plan to modify the engine too much.
    i'm really looking into:
    1. oe underbody kit
    2. sports package
    3. ultra package

    what have you paid or have heard upon the price paid for a 3.0 with those options?
