anyone know how to remove the two plastic pieces that surround the steering wheel column?

i know how to remove the knee bolster... and then i get stuck...

how do i get the pieces of plastic that surround the steering wheel column.

they are right behind the steering wheel...and the top is connected to this plastic fabric that im assuming is there to prevent random things from falling into the dash...
