    Thumbs up changed my mind

    I decided to change the color of the outer rim. First I painted semi-gloss black, but then I found a color that is very similar to my dolphin grey, is called "black night metallic", so I am repainting the outer rim and I will post pictures as soon as I finish.

    I bought some painted blackouts that the person forgot to sand down the chrome, and they are chipping now and you can see the chrome showing through. It looks hideous. I'll probably sand them down and repaint them, this time with a couple of coats and some clear coat.

    Matching the body colour looks great if its an option.

    Definitely make sure they are primed and painted properly. Will help keep them looking good for a longer time.

    I tested that color and is not an exact match, so I am going to leave it black.
