Back when I had an Mx3, it was common for the headlights to get hazy. What I got was primarily used by small aircraft pilots to clean their windsheilds. It's a glaze, and then a polish and my headlights went from looking like someone smeared poop on them, to being crystal clear. I forgot the name of the product though :( It's in two seperate bottles, their not very big, about as tall as a soda can. Ask around...

I bought it at NAPA, im sure you could get it at any auto store though. My headlights were really bad, so it lasted me a week or so.

You should be able to wet sand it with some really fine sandpaper and buff, glaze, and/or wax it. I did that to my corners and taillights after I painted them. It should come out alright.

Yeah, it doesn't fill in anything. Maybe it wont work for you. I'd try wet sanding, or buying new headlights ;-)

Eastwood Company has a headlight refinishing kit you can purchase - it's like $15. Worth a shot.

Use 1000- 2000 grit sandpaper on a finishing sander- wet. Follow up with some Mothers mag/aluminum polish(recommended!) or meguiars scratchX or other polishing compound.... then finally some Meguiars clear plastic cleaner(#17) and then the polish(#10). End product looks like new guaranteed!
Takes a long time and will piss you off, seriously consider just getting new lights.....
