did you have to replace all the clips as well..... how do the clips come off? do they just pop off or do they have to be drilled out?

Your gonna have to drill the screw on the inside of the doors...but otherwise all my clips were fine. They just pop off once you get the screw out. New ones clip back on use a new screw and your done.

No you don't need to, the trim slides off the clips after removing the one screwholding it in place. Just clean off all the dust and grit that has accumulated behind you old trim and slide the new ones on, simple.

Whats with that. Why did such a simple job of removing the moldings have to get complicated? Three out of 4 of mine werent coming out, so I ended up drilling them.

The screw goes into a metal piece that is molded into the plastic. This metal bit comes loose from the plastic very easily it seems. But you can pry the molding off and then use a pair of pliers to hold the (now) exposed bit so you can turn the screw. No need to drill anything. This assumes you are replacing your moldings of course.

That would be too easy. Even with pliers on one side of the screw and the screw driver on the other, I couldnt get it out. The screw driver just kep slipping off the end (they must have been really rusted together). Simple job became a pain in the a$$.
