headlight washer install instructions?

well i'm running out of ideas here...today i noticed that my headlight washers were not spraying...i held the lever for like a full minute even. tried to top up the fluid then noticed that i was leaking fluid, it was leaking from the end of this tube connect to a 2nd resevoir. i managed to push this tube like object down and what do you know the water stopped leaking. filled the tank with 6L of water and still no spray action from the headlight washers...so conclude it's gotta be that tube which i think is the pump. any instuctions on install?

Sorry to be a bit OT but you guys with headlight washers have a second tank of water connected to the principal windshield washer tank?

not really sure about that but you shouldn't use water. Windshield washer fluid is what your really supposed to use. Also, are your headlights on when you try to clean them?? If not, then the washers wont come up.

do we all have headight washers??????? I never knew. i did notice the square patches on the front bumper...
