Wax question...

Hi everyone,

I've been using Meguires Gold Class paste wax on my white ultrasport, applying two coats every month or so, but was wondering what everybody thought would provide the best protection possible. I've been thinking about buying the Zaino kit, but have heard good things about Pinnacle, P21, Meguires NXT and a few others. Unfortunately my car doesn't get to park in a garage for now, so I'm looking for the best protection I can get. Any recommendations?

Ah, cool, I thought that might have been you with the black rims.... Those look sweet, the contrast makes it really stand out. I just debadged mine and I still need a tint, probably not as dark as yours (though with your rims it looks great) and the same all the way around. First I need some all-season rubber for boarding this winter. Then I think I'll save up this winter and next spring maybe get an exhaust, 19" RS4s, ecodes, and/or some coilovers. Nothing too drastic that might void my warranty just yet... Hopefully by then I'll have made it to a NorCal GTG and gotten some new ideas by checking out some other rides.

Agree, the Klasse twins will protect your paint like no other. AIO 2x, SG 2x or more (wait at least 12 hrs between coats) and you won't believe the shine. And your paint's protected for 6-9 mos. Reflectivity is awesome, especially for light colors. Check out topoftheline.com, good prices.

A coat of P21S on to of hte SG will give it more depth and warmth but that's not really what you're after on a white car. Zaino's also excellent but can be pricey.
