Audizine Hats: Taking Opinions and Votes NOW!

We received quotes today on getting the Audizine embroidered hats made. This hereby acts as a Q&A, Poll, and Order Info Thread.

We will be doing one of the following designs, depending on the feedback.

Style 1: The Audizine "A" Logo


Style 2: Full "Audizine" Logo


Either style we choose will have the "www.audizine.com" URL embroidered into the back of the hat across the arch.

These will be available in five color combinations of a Port Authority Brushed Canvas Cap with Contrasting Underbill.

The features of this particular hat include the following:


- Very lightweight so it's great for warm climates
- Soft feel because of the brushed canvas fabric
- Unstructured; low profile
- 100% cotton
- 6-panel construction
- Stitched eyelets
- Fashion curved bill
- Closure is self-fabric with a D-ring buckle


The color choices, in addition to the Black & Stone shown above, will be:

Light Blue & Stone


Cardinal Red & Navy


Navy & Stone


Stone & Navy


Feel free to post your thoughts and comments, such as what your color preferrence may be and also be sure to vote for which style you would prefer. Also, how many would be interested in a visor or beanie?

Again, we will only put one of these into production, and we'll need your support in doing so. Our goal is to get at least the 40 orders needed to come in at the introductory price point we'd like to offer these for.

I'm shooting for a intro price of $18 per hat, with shipping ranging around $2. Once we complete our intial run, we'll be retailing them in the Audizine shop for $20-25.

Give us all the feedback you can, it will all be taken into consideration.

Stone and Navy... and only if they're flexfit or whatever. The hats w/ the lil pull strip are outdated imo.

Also, any chance of either of the logo's being smaller, they seem kinda huge.

I personally don't care for flexfit, as I hate the way they fit/feel, but if the overall consensus is for those, we can do those.

Those are just PhotoChops, the logo size isn't set in stone. Wouldn't want to do the "A" logo much smaller than that though. It's not all that big, IMO.

exact same as enjoiweb, stone and navy with the first logo. but i don't quite get how the back closure works. any pics of the back?

Don't have any shots of the back at the moment, but I'll get some. It's just a basic old-school "D" configuration buckle. Hard to describe, I'll work on getting pics.

is it possible to get a velcro backing? i usually prefer fitted, but if that's not available, i think the velcro's the next best thing. sorry for the crappy pics, but the velcro backing on my guinness hat's pretty damn good, this is thre best i could do w/o walking all the way downstairs to get my digi cam

Read the entire post, we can do visors. Visors and beanies will be a dollar less.

in that case ill take a beanie and visor...one for the summer and one for the winter

We can do the visors and beanies at the same time, no problem at all. Mainly just wanted to get a general consesus on the logo and people's color preferences. Just hoping we can get at least 40 orders, so we can make this happen. Will post a new Thread in a few days to start taking orders.

See the problem is there's a one-time art digitizing and set-up fee of like 150 dollars I have to factor into the initial order. I was hoping to sell them between 15 and 20, but the margins are much less than I had hoped, especially on an initial order.

Looking at the market, seems good hats these days are going anywhere from 25-35 dollars.

These are good high quality hats, with top-notch embroidery work. Just so everyone knows.

Im not much for hats myself, but if I was going to buy one, I would want the black with stone and the second logo. And the only way I would buy it was if it was fitted.

You ever think of moving the logo off center, down to the left a little. Just a thought for a little difference.

Just the peak/bill and then an inch or two of material above all the way around. Lot of golfers wear these. Open top concept.

I also prefer flex fit caps and prefer the first logo. 1st color choice would be stone/navy, then navy/stone. I'd also be interested in a beenie w/ the same logo.

I def think the 1st logo is too big. If it were reduced in size and moved slightly to the left and down it would look cool.

It doesn't need to be big as hell to be nice. Personally I don't want to be a billboard, I just want to quietly show my support for the forum.

1st logo and i agree w/ ripple n brr w/ moving the logo to the side n down.

prefer all black in a flex-fit (thats all i wear now), I dont like the adjustable strap ones, specially when theres the leftover strap hanging around.

the one thing about this cap i like is the unstructured low profile fit (which im assuming it forms to the dome) which unlike the flex-fits, which look like they sit a lil higher on the dome
so if you can get the best of both in one that would be sweet.

also flex-fits/fitted have a cleaner look in the back being fully closed and whatevers on the back looks better too, imo

Yup, only flex fit or sized hats. The D ring in the back is late 80s early 90's as hell! I wouldn't be caught dead wearing one!

The hats look sic on the front though. I'd definantly hit it if it were flex fit.
