hey guys if i wanna get nitrous in my car would i install a wet or dry system? where would it spray in from?

and if i wanted to run one to a front mount would i need a separate tank and system altogether?

kinda broad topic but im just thinking bout it and would wonder where the lines were tapped in from

actually hey john i was being serious.. do u have any idea? im still unfamiliar with NOS and such...and the use of nos took a serious hit after that damned f&f movie.. but i still think its nice to be able to use once in a while..

the reason i ask is because i wanted to set up a halo spray for a front mount intercooler which id pick up soon... but i was also thinking about setting one up for engine also.. but was wondering what that would entail.. havent really done my research on it..but if u have any info thatd be helpfull... thx

i know villians was going to run a setup with nos but hasnt installed it yet.. i also know kenny runs nos with a ZEX kit that goes to throttle...but not sure if its a wet or dry kit... he also has a NX halo kit that directly injets into his FMIC... im not sure if they are wired up separately though... and if u need one tank per setup or what not.. why would it be a PITA to get to work?

If you run nitrous, it would have to be a wet system. Then nozzle would connect to your intercooler - manifold piping and the right side of your engine around the coolant area. If you want to run one to the front mount intercooler you have two options. Have 2 seperate tanks and have two seperate switches, or you can have 1 tank and spray it at the same time.

    Jeff,

If you are going to run N2O it will have to be a wet system. You can put the nozzle in two places. One is right in front of the throttle body or have a direct system that places one nozzle in each runner of the intake right before the fuel injector. You can do both the nozzle and FMIC with one system; all you need is a distribution block. If you are serious, I can get you a brand new kit really cheap. Let me know. As far as the lines; the N2O comes from the bottle (usually in the trunk) and the fuel gets T off from your fuel line. N2O is a good combination with a turbo because it acts as an intercooler as well as a power adder. I know a lot of people who have had great success with this setup on the 1.8T and that is why I will be going to it as well.

Let me know if you want a kit.

cool. thanks kenny. so the wet system injects into the piping connecting the intercooler and manifold?

oh yeah hey remember when i went over that last time and u told me how to get rid of curb rash.. wat grit sandpaper should i use? like something ~800?

    derrick,
can you PM me a price for it installed? i dont have the FMIC yet but id want to know if i do go this route. how big of a shot were you planning on running off your setup? and how many shots can you run before risking blowing your motor? i of course wouldnt run it a lot, except on track or races but it'd be nice to know a ballpark figure before i go blowing up my motor . ive always wanted to have a n2o system as my friend ran it very successfully on his gsr... he loved it. and i might add i loved it. definitely a good way to go for great power gains. thanks!

    youd want wet....

but your poor wrist pins are going to hate you...

50-60 single fogger is doable, any bigger youd need direct port....

use something rougher than 800, then work your way to finer grit then use the polish.
