Hi. I got some questions that I needed answered, ASAP if possible. The car is a 99.5 A4 1.8t Non-bose with the Concert headunit. Here are my questions:

#1 Will the Infinity Kappa 4.25i 4" speakers fit and how are they?

#2 Will the Infinity Kappa 62.5i 6.5" speakers fit and how are they?

#3 Will the Alpine CDA-9827 headunit fit?

#4 What would be needed to hookup my ipod to this headunit. A friend of mine said i would need this (http://www.crutchfield.com/S-lkOQodp...KCA121B&o=&a=0) and a 1/8 to rca wire to hook it up. Would the blitzsafe work? What would be best / easiest / not too expensive?

    Thanks!

Alpine just got a iPod hookup that works with all Alpine AiNet HU. All info and control are through the Alpine HU.

The rear speakers should fit with no problem. Not sure about the fronts, but since they are stock 4inchers, i think they would fit up as well.

I've only delt with Infinity speakers so far, and they are good speakers. The tweeters on em can get really bright and peirce your eardrum (hurts). The midbass is pretty good and so are the lows (if you have them mounted in a suitible enclosure). For the A4, the speaker enclosures suck (hell everything about the audio system sucks). They arent even enclosed, so you're not going to hear them/they're not going to perform at best.

I have the same Kappa speakers for the rear, it distorts really easily running of my Sony HU (rated at 55wx4) , It needs more amplication. If your Alpine HU is anything like my HU, i also think you would need external amplication to really enjoy those speakers. The Kappa line requires more juice to bump em.

answers to both 1 and 2 are yes. I have the 42.5i in the front doors and they sound good. The 62.5i are the 2-way speakers. If your planning on putting them in the rear door, they wont fit. I had the 63.5i 3-way's and the magnet on the back was too large to fit. I don't see why they wouldn't fit in the rear glass though. I went with the 52.5i 5.25" in the rear door and the Perfect 6.1 component set for the back glass and tweets in the front door. Hope this helped. If you have any other ?'s pm or e-mail me.
