Hold your horses. GIAC has released its Flashloader software, so you (or your GIAC dealer) will be able to upload ECU software via ODB-II rather than replacing the ECU chip.

ok, looks like theres something like 20people interested, I NEED to chip my car soon, so I'm gunna call AWE-tuning up and see if I can put anything together. I'm pretty busy till friday, so it might not happen till then, so unless someone else calls and asks I'll do it by friday.
I'm also going to ask about TipChips, so if anyone is interested in that too, post a message so I can give a rough estimate.

depending on price, i'm interested as well. I'd like the upgraded removable version though.

so how would a gb work on this? do they give you a gift certificate that you take into your local-ish giac distributor for install, or is this supposed to be a diy install (!!).
