    Throttle problem

    Heres my two problems.
    Vehicle: 99 Audi A4 1.8T
    no engine mods (yet)

    Problem 1
My timing belt broke which in turn bent my valves. I had a new head put on. I got the car back and it has no throttle response. Its very slow coming from a dead stop. When I lay on the gas at high speeds the rpms go up at first then drop for a second before they start going up gradually. The car is very slow now especially at slow speeds it seems like when I press on the pedal the rpms rev high but the car just doesn't actually take off as fast.
    Any help would be appreciated.
Is there something I can do. new seals? Reseal any of the hoses.
Or is the problem somewhere else?

    Problem 2
When I got the car back I found out that the service place broke a piece on the throttle body. its the part where the throttle cable wraps around that wheel and the end of the throttle cable is held on by a wire tie. Does anyone know where to by a throttle body and if so is there a better or upgraded throttle body I can purchase instead of the OEM? I don't know a lot about this so any help please.

I will provide more detail if anyone needs it to help me.
    Thanks all!!

that first problem soudns liek a clutch to me. from wut i've heard, if the RPMs go up fast but the car does not. it's time for a new clutch! but a 99 with no mods seems odd to have a clutch go so soon
