    Will a tip chip from a 2001 work on a 99?

I searched but couldn't find anything about it.

1997-1999.5 are compatible and 1999.5-2001 are compatible, so to answer the question NO.

are you sure the 99.5-2001.5 are compatible? Would the nDBW play any affect on this?

    I've still got my 99.5 non-DBW tip-chipped ECU if anyone's interested.

2000 - 2001.5..must be. I looked it up on A.w.e. and they must be mistaken as well as they have the order form designed the way I had posted above. The years are overlapping anyways.
