get the tires first. some spacers can be more trouble than they are worth. i had some on and it caused a slight vibration on the steering wheel. get hubcentric spacers if you go that route but i would spend the cash get the tires and if you still arent happy get the spacers. do the same size all the way around tho.

Yes, if you do get spacers, be sure to get hubcentric ones.

I looked into them awhile back, but I found that they seemed like a pain. Kind of pricey, and then you have to figure out the new bolt sizes, etc... There's also two types of spacers, which adds to the confusion. One kind extends the hub, the other bolts on.

I have 15mm on the front of mine and 20mm on the back.

    Fitted them today.

Used to just run 15mm on the back.

Re: wheel spacers on stock 5 blades

I as well have 15mm H&R spacers on the rear of my avant and love them. easy install, hubcentric and new, longer, lugs.
I have stock five spoke sport wheels, and the back could go up to 20mm no problem.
    good luck.

I dont really notice any difference in the handling tbh. I just did it for looks as the wheels look too far sunk into the arch without them.
