18" on base 2004 A4 3.0 Quattro (pics)

I am thinking of putting RS4 18x8 rims on this car without any suspension work. I understand they just bolt on no spacers -- is that so?

I was thinking of the chrome version.

I was knowing if anyone has done this and what the look was like.

I need to get comfortabel with this decision -- please. PICTURES with tire sizes?

you will probably want 235/40/18" tires on 18s, i would advise against chrome RS4 wheels. i think that would look hideous on an A4... as with anything chrome.. i think the silver RS4 wheels are very nice looking.

as for spacers, you dont actually need any, but if the offset is high enough (ex. ET43 offset) then you can get spacers to push the wheels out a little so it looks a little more flush.

if anything, i would reccomend you look for someone selling their A4 ultrasport wheels off a 2004, those should work perfectly on your car. Ultrasport wheels are RS4 wheels, and they are OEM, so they look much better. check the classifieds, theres always someone selling some.

again.. chrome + audi = bad. i think most will agree on that.

18x8 wheels with an offset of ET 35 and 235/40/18 tires is a sweet setup. I you have the OEM Sport package, then it should look good. I wouldn't go for chrome, but that's my thing.
