My 04 says my next maintance is in 1000 miles, 256 days?!! WTF

First of all does that even make sense? How could it say 1000 miles and 256 days? Thats not even close.

Also whats weird is that i have 9k miles right now, so why is it saying i have a maintance at 10k? I already had one at 5k and my maintance book says my next should be at 15k. Any ideas?

yeah mine said 10k also.. and when i brought it in for the 10k they said i only have a 15k!! and i was like thats retarded the computer didnt get reset from the 03 service dates to the 04's

I think it is 1000 miles or however many you have left until the service or 365 days. Whick ever comes first. I think. As far as the 10k service goes, I am not too sure.

yeah when i went in for my supposed 10k..they just reset the counter and told me i could do my 15k 5k early but i said nah ill come bak for 15k
