    i use Macormedia Fireworks, and wut i did was d/l the demo fro mtheir website, then find a crack for the program, search on google for one, and it turned it form a demo into the full program . saved me a couple hundred bucks

    Basically any paint program will do. Go to adobe.com for infomation on Photoshop. It's a high end digital photo editing program. Corel Photo paint is also a good one. search the web and see what you find. If you need help with a sig, I believe there is a guy on here that does them for people.
