Wanted to share some pics of my new Avant!

It's about a week old and it’s a 1999 A4 1.8T Quattro 5-speed and i got it for a great price with only 46,000 on it. It's a LOT different than my old GTI.

So far...

Next week...
Polished A6 roof racks
New south column pod and VDO boost gauge

i had my car that low on the ultras for about 10 minutes. it looks like something is broken!!!!!!!!! to each their own though.

yeah it's REALLY low. they were installed yesterday (saturday) afternoon and are going to be raised tomorow (monday).

the roads here are decent and the ride defenetley isnt as bad as i expected when i first drove it.

BTW, didn't know A6 rails would fit the A4. I still have my old RS4 brushed aluminum rails if you were interested.

def dont drive too long that low puts a lot of straing on your drive axels...ride isn't that bad because you're on the stockers...put some 18's 19's and come back and tell us the ride quality

in person it looks amazing.
the coilovers were just installed and they are going back up tomorow morning. it's not getting hurt by sitting outside my house... you people need to chill out. it'll be ok...
also i sold my gti because it was just time to moove on and i missed having back seats and trunk space.
also i slammed it on the stock wheels because im not a millionare and cant afford wheels and coilovers in the first week of owning a new car...

yeah looking around this site and seeing what people do to there car it's disapointing. (no offence) there is so much potential out there and everyone seems to do the same thing and follow a mold. that's exactley what im going to try NOT to do...
hopefully it'll turn out as well as the gti did.

I think you'll like the ride so much better after you raise your car. My tires were tucked and I raised it to a 1 finger gap. Wow, I couldn't believe the difference in ride comfort, I think handling even improved.

Dem's mighty BIG werds. I feel you , BUT as many people on here will agree, modyfing a car isn't too difficult. You can add just about anything to a vehicle. But doing it right where it makes sense and still maintains the classiness of an audi, that's another story. I don't know what you plan to do to your car that's so "different". Believe me, it's all been done before. Nothing comes from nothing. Also, people on here don't care about having the most "tricked out" car. We chose Audis because of the German engineering, styling, and attention to detail in the car. Not to impress anyone with how low our car can go before
bending our tie rods and ruining the drive train. BTW, nice GTI.

The "Super Euro" look seems to be more prevalent among Veedubers and a little less so with the Audi owners. Just an observation. I'm all for any form of expression. Do whatcha like.

Hoping you can find a set of the A8 wheels. Would like to see them on the white B5 Avant, don't think I've seen that yet.

He obviously just wanted to see what it would look like all the way down. Most people know that coilovers all the down does little for handling and actually makes things worse.

I think I am going to take my same old plain jane to the local autox now.
