displaying diag codes and other info in the climate control display

Hi guys,

I remember before I got my APR v3.0 EMCS chip I could display information such as diagnostic codes, vehicle speed, RPM, and other stuff in the climagte control display at the bottom of the console of my 2000 A4. I did this by pressing the recirc button and the manual flow + button at the same time. It was pretty cool. the whole procedure was outlined in this AW tech article:

But now it doesn't seem to work anymore. I am speculating that it is because I installed my APR chip...not sure about this, but this is the only thing i can think of that has changed from then and now...I can still change the temperature reading from Celsius to Farenheit by pressing the recirc and temperature + button at the same time however.

I wonder if any of you APR chip owners out there are able to get vehicle info to display in the climate control screen...
