    you really don't look like you are protecting from anything but the hood. the heat is still going to come off the turbo adj. to your box. do you have a long pc. of alum. going down in between the turbo and the intake. to be really sealed it should go down to the frame rail and completey block off the two(air filter and turbo) if you use a little bit of a thicker material it might work a little better also. more of a heat sink.

    It does go all the way down to the frame rail. Actually there is a thick piece of steall separating the turbo from the filter. This aluminum piece is designed to protect the top surface. It goes about half way down the steel piece. I am also adding a/c ducts that will go from the bumper up to the filter for better air flow.

    Looks good, but the most important part is right next to the CAT and the engine. u got that sheet next to it ??

    Yes its double shielded with steel and aluminum and no they are not bolted on to each other and the steel is painted so it won't corrode.

    As far as pictures straight down goes, yes that photo gallery has photos straight down. Go to page two and look at the last photo.
