This past week there was lots of rain in NJ.
My car was parked in the lot at work, facing some trees.
I noticed that there were lots of lil brown spots on my car.
I assume its from the tree but man is it annoying.
Car wash certainly didnt do anything. I had to take most of them off with my fingernail. Of course, when you do that it leaves a nice brown streak. So some water to wipe that away.

What in the world are these brownies ?

the best thing you can do wash ur car and while the soup is on there clay it and it will come off real e z. then after wax it so if it happens again it will be alot easier to clean off.

yeah... i had the same problem. 100's of them but after detailing my car recently, aka 2 days ago... they slide off now and leave nothing... be careful about scratching with your nails, you can leave minor scratches on the car doing that...

I know exactly what you are talking about. Ive gotten them too. The easiest way to take these off, especially if you have a lot, is by claying your car. It works perfectly and gets off a lot of other crap you might not even be able to see. Otherwise, if its just a few, I use Nathans Liquid Lustre or some type of quick clean wax to get them off.

ditto.. this is a huge problem for all the cars in my area. I think it's thin sap that gets blown off the leaves of the trees.

Clay bar does the trick. I also hear that dishwashing soad strips wax, so maybe it will take care of these(?) Of course you need to finish off with some wax again.
