Does anyone have the ATP GT28rs kit? Looks good but wheres the software? Anyone know if this kit is compatable with GIAC or APR chips? Any opinions on the GT2871R?

Well on the VWvortex there's people usin KO4 software, REVO BT, and Upsolute BT program for 1.8T ATP GT28RS kit. The BT(Big Turbo) programs are expensive though.

I have the kit...and i'll be honest about the kit. Its great, but yea the stock program they provide isn't exactly the best, but i went thru about 40-50 hours of dyno time to get my kit to its optimum potential.

I thought the ECU chips could "learn" the engine setup?
what does APR use for their garrett turbo kit?

no they have to have a chip flash with different fuel/boost/timing maps along with a bunch of other adjustments. it is not that simple at all if it were you would see a lot more audis with big turbos. the problem with ATP is that their chip flash sucks big time. REVO is currently working on tuning for the DBW B5 for that turbo kit but me along with everyone else on here have learned not to hold our breath over it. if you are ndbw just find a used PES kit.

I'm not gunna go past a K04 on my 1.8T, rather save the money and get a S4 Cabrio in a few years, but I love all the tuning people do =)

Wait... so what exactly are your mods DVS?

On a side note, I think all members should all list their year, model, and mods in their sig. When someone posts something on many fronts, it's nice to know what they have and what it applies to.

For example, when someone asks a questions, but fails to mention if they're DBW, nDBW, 1.8T, 2.8, etc....

I don't see why everyone just doesn't post their car and mods in their sig, whether or not they have a picture.

    ok ok...
how are you going to get more power out of the 1.8 than the 2.7 or the v8?

and how street driveable is it? I have a lot of toy money, and my audi is my toy....

I want something for just driving, but with speed. thats why I like the idea of an s4(well, really, I like the idea of an RS6 Avant....).
