    Post Lowering Problem....click/clunk noise?

    any one else have this?
    my rear springs make a click or its like a clunk noise whenever i go over a bump?
    i have apex springs...anyone have this problem or know how to fix it?

    Check to make sure your spings are seated correctly.

    if you hear the clunking noise when going over the bump then its your shocks..you did not tighten the bolts the right way..i had the same problem, go back and check the bolts on the shocks form the side that its making noise

    EDIT: The reason its doing that is because it is loose, and hitting against sides. When you get under you will not be able to tell its loose just by looking unless you actually get some tools and tighten it, then you will know how loose it was when they the bolts get tighter then they appear...

    I saw some posts on AW from a while back about the nuts that secure the strut onto the spring's seat. The nut has to be counter held with a hex key while the nut is tightened. If you don't do it this way, the strut will shake it's' way loose and begin to bounce around on bumpy surfaces.

    The only way to be sure they are tight is to remove the struts and compress the springs.

    Otherwise, worn control arms are the next possibility.
