Within a reasonable price range, what is a good present you can get someone for their Audi? I don't know much so any advice will help!

APR Stage III+. Only about $5,000 (not counting clutch). If you really love him, you'll get it.

Honestly though, as a gift from a girl, I'd like to get something like tinted windows (about $200 for a great job), or somthing like shortshifter from V&S (about $130).

Also, here's a cheap mod list:

By the way, the fact that you're on here ) assuming you're a girl), your BF is the luckiest guy in the world.

Damn, my GF wouldn't even think to buy me a tank of gas considering how much I have to drive her!

A nice shiftboot and knob from Tycoon would be nice in my books!

I wish my ex would have bought me somehting while we were dating. Already i like you, but to help you decide on what you are going to get him, how much are you looking at spending? My first idea would either be a Kamei grill(mesh or honeycomb~$100) or RS4 grill (~$75). If you are looking at spending more money, get a chip or Diverter Valve. Or you could get him a front bumper(either S4 or RS4).

If you're really on a budget, Audi has all sorts of $10-30 items available through the dealership, like keychains, pens, hats, etc.

Here is some of what's available: http://collection.audiusa.com

Thanks to everyone for responding!! And you guys are all right...he's a lucky bastard!

It's an A4 1.8T. Um, price range - maybe up to 100 bucks, but I want to get something good. How much is a good chip?

Whatever I end up getting, if it's not right, can most things be returned?

    Thanks, boys!!

a good chip will run you $300-500, so I'd say that would be well out of your price range. His car isn't chipped already?? dump him, his car is too slow. Just kidding...just kidding..... no I'm not. :-P

Anyway, for under $100 you could get:
-an RS4 front grill, it's a nice visual upgrade compared to the stock grill and usually sells for around $70 shipped. check out www.atlastmotorsport.com
-for $140 you could get him a V&S short shifter. (He drives a stick right?)
    - Like someone mentioned before you could get him an OverSpun gauge vent mount and a VDO boost gauge (If he doesn't already have a boost gauge, get him this. He needs it and he'll appreciate it every minute he's in the car)

as far as returns, most things can easily be resold through the classified section on this forum. Usually dealerships will charge some form of a restocking or handling fee on all returns.

umm... im assuming if he likes his audi alot, he might already have a couple of the things like grill, chip, blahblah... already? unless u know what exactly what he already has, i suggest you asking him (without him knowing) a little about his car first.

    then.. buy from there...

but i think a SHIFT KNOB, Shifter BOOT, Boost gauges, turbo timer, that kind things guys usually buy last.... you should be pretty safe with those new toys!

    so many suggestions!

he already has the rs4 front grill. he drives stick and the car isn't chipped yet. he has rims and tires, but the car isn't lowered yet. how much does a new front bumper cost - a lot i'm assuming?

** snub mount, gauge vent mount, vdo boost gauge, short shifter, shift boot, carbon fiber pillar covers, turbo timer...are these are things audi drivers like or does it acquire a certain interest?

i really appreciate all your help!!!

those are definately all things most audi drivers that modify their cars *need* except for the carbon fiber door pillars.. those are more of a taste issue.

What kind of boost gauge, short shifter and snub mount are the best? What is a reasonable price? And are there any other parts/items/what have you that go with them?
