    Free Direct Port Programming

    A couple days ago, check engine light comes on. I take it to the dealership today, they tell me that they need to replace the whole ECU (which has an APR chip with stock and race modes).

    Call local APR dealer and they tell me that since my dealer had to replace the ECU they would flash my ECU for free.

    Big thumbs up...W00t for APR's customer service.=

    Just thought I would share that

    That's great!

    How many miles did you have in your car i.e. how many miles you had the APR on? I have the APR with 2 programs and I haven't had any problems so far...

    What's the reason why they have to replace the whole ECU?
