9600XTs are worth no more than $200...Maybe a 9800XT but you can pick one of those up for less than $300 easy. in that case I'll give you $500 for the setup.

seems about right. computers parts prices drop so quickly. I think dell would sell a similar setup for near the same price.

why do you even bother with that offer.. you know he wont accept it. thats actually an insult to offer that low of an amount when the thing is 2 weeks old.

Why is that an insult? Do you see any other offers? It at least gives the seller an idea of the market.

The problem is that it's way overbuilt for anything but a gamer box. And it's a bit underbuilt for that (video, CPU). Seems to me that $500 is a good opening offer.

Computers drop in price dramatically, but come on, it's 2 weeks old. $500 is rediculous. It's worth at least around 1k for everything including components. It would probably sell for only $900 or so unfortunately, not including shipping.

Anyway, you want to part it out? I know its probably unlikely, but there are more people looking for componenets rather than a non-warrantied full on system.

    I'm interested in:
    DVD-RW drive
    Floppy Drive
All of you RAM (what kind is it?)

Let me know and if not thats cool. Hope you find a buyer cause that's a nice system.

800 is probably a good offer for this machine, i just priced it out and it would cost around 600 to build it on your own without the OS and and anti-virus, plus its got a warranty, so 800 would be about right. would be better finding out what hard drive is in (cache, rpm), what type of memory (manufacturer, speed), are they running dual channel, and the manufacturer of each component. if you don't get that info, pass on it and build your own, you can put a better video card in then instead of wasting money on that ugly-azz case.
A blind man once stepped on Chuck Norris' shoe. Chuck replied, "Don't
you know who I am? I'm Chuck Norris!" The mere mention of his name cured
this man blindness. Sadly the first, last, and only thing this man ever
saw, was a fatal roundhouse delivered by Chuck Norris.
