that commecial basically explains my experience with posrche (minus the dealership part)...

saw one when i was 8... havent forgotten it yet... was a black carrera 4, dad and i were driving on the freeway, i saw it come up next to us, i stared in awe, then it just flew!! punched it weaved through traffic like butter!

ever since then, i told myself i would own one someday... and i will!!

That is so me over 30 years ago. A friend of mine's dad got a black 911T, and I have been dreaming about that car ever since.
I doubt I would ever buy a new one, but a 30 year old classic may be in my garage someday.

my pops had a 79 930 turbo that he kept for about 20yrs..
he sold it with over 450hp, immaculate. unfortunatly i didnt have the funds to take it off his hands...
its now club racing in the mid-west somewhere.. =(

that commercial basically sums up my life long love affair with Porsche. I used to ask for business cards like that too. not at 11, but i probably asked for my first one at around 17. Ive been riding with a ferrari business card in my car for probably the last 2 and half years lol. its just for motivation.

The first really awesome Porsche I ever remember seeing (though I had seen many many others before it) was a yellow 993 GT2. I took a picture of it when I saw it, but it's in storage right now. I saw it in Paris, France when I was 11.

it's crazy what a car can do to you at a young age. i'm still planning on getting a 993, someday.
