First steps to lowering a car???

I just went from my 2001 OEM 17" to Moda R6 18"'s. What are the first steps in lowering the car just a LITTLE bit, so that it looks nice with the larger wheels? I'd like to do it as inexpensive as possible. Any ideas? Thanks

Well you COULD just get the springs. Supremepower has Neuspeed Race for around $200. Your shocks will give out sooner though. Your best bet for overall performance and ride is to get shocks too. I got Neuspeed Bilsteins for $500.
