Scratch one more A4...

Well, after all the god damned work in the past month, new suspension, new wheels, new ecodes, plus the carputer and stereo install, some ass hole in a 3 ton utility truck cuts across my lane this morning and I tbone into him on the way to work.

My car is fuxored... So the insurance guy should give the word that its totalled tomorrow. I was already out looking at 2001 1.8's today. Had to do something or I would go insane...

Will have pics tomorrow. Now I am going to get drunk with a bottle of vodka.

btw - I am ok. No damage to the brrman.

I am hoping the suspension is salvagable - one wheel is fvcked. If I get a 2001, then the computer screen will be no good to the new dash style so I'll probably end up selling it and the computer to some lucky A4 owner who can snap it right in.

Nah - he was in the opposing traffic, waiting to turn across my lane. I had a green light - he failed to give right of way. Thats how the cop wrote it down. I have a couple witnesses to the fact too.

Weird thing was that he was behind another car that should have gone before him. The other car started to go but then stopped when they realized they would not make it before I got there. So this guy behind the lead car hit the gas intending to go too. When the lead car stopped the 2nd guy swerved to avoid hitting her, right into my lane. Stupid jackass was probably eating breakfast or something.

I bet those ADR's would look sick on an avant.

Damn dood, that's terrible. Almost makes me want to refrain from doing anything else to my car. Everything can be gone in that instant. But the bottom line is that you're around to see your next Audi.

yeah guys - its just a car. Lot of blood and sweat put into it, but at least no blood was spilled at the accident. The truck was going to pull out in front of me or rear-end a Durango full of young kids, so I guess I'd rather it be me.

If I get an Avant I'll have to sell off my Bilsteins/Neuspeed Race setup I guess.

That's too bad man, it's like losing a family member...but your still kicking.
If you decide to go S4 and want to take a road trip there's a guy in Utah that sells his Audis' for about 750-1200 over his auction price, you can get an S4 for just a little more than an A4...I would have done that myself, but being a poor college student I couldn't afford the insurance of the S4 right now( i have a wife that has about the worst driving record possible)...but soon!
