I am considering buying a short shifter for my 2001 S4. Which ones are the best? Are short shifters known to cause any problems? I was thinking about UUC or Tanoga.

I have the ToyGuy SS. It is really smooth but the drawbacks are that the throws are not that short. One other SS I would consider would be the Neuspeed one.

I have a Tanoga. I like it so far and its really short. The only problem is that it is pretty notchy. Which I dont mind but it did take some getting use to.

I've had a strat short shifter for about a year now, it started out notchy but now the thing is smoothe as silk. I have to say that a short shifter no matter what type has got to be one of the best mods around. After yoiu install it your car'll feel like a new beast.
