American AutoX has got an autoX going on this weekend at Castle Air Force Base. It's damn far for most, but with what we have available right now, it's one of the better venues. Comparable to Marina, but not as good as Mather AFB. Size is about the same as Marina, and top speed on street tires will probably be about 60-65mph.

I'm gonna go on Saturday morning with my roommate. Will have videos and pictures up later.

Anyone interested? It's a long drive, but worth it IMO for the bigger and faster venue (plus the cars are way more badass)

it's like a 2 hour drive right? if i have no other plans, i'll go. i'm dying to try AAS.

I'm pretty sure I'll be at either GG or Castle this weekend, not yet sure which. all things being equal, it'd be Castle for sure but I think my 1.8's snail is desperate to escape the July valley heat!
