A photo album of the steps if you get lost. These are not my pictures, just some i found on the net.
*You will need philips and flat head screwdrivers, various Torx screwdrivers including a T45, which i could only find at O'Reileys as a rachet attachment and most likely a few break away/snap clips from the dealer. If you are fixing the green carrier, have some cotter pins and gorilla glue or something similar.*
1. Take off the decorative trim by just pulling on the side that is nearest the front of the car. You can use a screwdriver with a rag to keep from scraping things up if you want.
2. Remove the (2) screws that are under the trim if they are there. If they aren't, don't worry.
3. Look underneath the armrest, remove the (1) screw if its there. If it isn't, don't worry.
4. Remove the entire panel by by prying from the bottom with a screwdriver or brute strength. You'll probably break some snap clips, but they are only like $.50 each. Yes, it does not seem like it will come off, but it will.
5. Remove the door lock cable and the other electrical cables that plug into the bottom of the regulator. The door panel should now be free.
6. Remove the remaining cables that run from the speaker to the regulator.
7. Remove the 3 screws that hold the regulator in place.
8. Remove/Replace the regulator.
*If your regulator still works, but you window won't raise, read on for how to fix the green carrier.*
9. Remove the sound deadening material.
10. Remove the (2) foam wedges from either side of the window.
11. Remove the black, triangular, plastic piece that is in the door panel.
12. Remove the black, curved, triangular plastic piece that the rear piece of foam was under. The piece on the top side of the door the essentially touches the window. Just pull on it to remove it.
13. Remove the rubber trim that seals the door to the car by just pulling on it. Remove it all the way down to where the bottom of the window opening is. Like in the pictures.
14. Remove the rubber guides from the inside and outside of the window that keep debris from getting inside. Just pull up on them.
15. On the side of the door that is nearest the rear, there will be a black plastic piece with (2) white plastic screws in it. Remove the Torx screw that is left of this piece.
16. Look up and remove the circular, rubber gromit.
17. Remove the screw that is behind the gromit. You will probably drop it into the crevice when you are taking it out. Either use a pinkie or magnet to get it out.
18. On the side of the door that is nearest the front, there will be another circular, rubber gromit with a screw behind it. Remove the gromit and screw. This one should come all the way out easily.
19. There are (3) screws at the top of the door frame. (2) are silver and (1) is black. Remove them.
20. Remove the screw that attaches the silver guide bar to the door panel. It is the one on the bottom.
21. Push the (3) blue plastic pieces through the panel by squeezing them with a screwdriver. The piece with the gears on it.
22. Do the same for the white piece towards the top.
23. At this point, all of the screws should be removed, however when you pull up on the window it still wont come out.
24. If you look at each side of the door, there are rubber pieces that are attached to the bottom part of the door. Pull on them to pop them out.
25. Now the whole top of the door frame should come out with the window.
26. Remove the (2) bolts that hold the carrier and window tab together.
27. Remove the window, taking notice of what groove it goes in.
28. Fix the carrier how ever you see fit. I've used cotter pins and gorilla glue and it has held so far. The metal piece on the cable goes in the center of the green carrier. Play around with it and you'll figure it out.
29. Put everything back together making sure the window is in the right groove. Make sure it slides up and down easily and doesn't get crooked at the bottom.
Let me know if there is anything i missed and I'll add it.
