Are these the same ECU?

4B0 906 018 CH Bezin ME 7.5 0001 (my ECU)
4B0 906 018 CH Bezin ME 7.5 0002 (other guys ecu)
Both will work in my car right?
Im about to buy this guys chipped ECU and the picture he took gave me these codes, but the 0001 and 0002 do not match, does that matter?

should be fine as long as the ecu's are from the same year car ...
and a manual ecu can be vag'd for a tip and vise versa if that plays into your swap.

never heard of anything past the "CH" or other ending letters playing a role in ecus not matching

Somebody said to make sure that the options were the same also, for the ESP/cold weather and so forth, is this correct?

i was under the impression that as long as its the same year and that quattro or FWD didnt matter and manual or tip could be vag'd
all the rest i dont know.

looks like they are both ch boxes, you should be fine,
