    Need Ecode Blinker help ASAP

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Putting my ecodes in, so far so good except the blinker, 2 different sockets, oem 99.5 wont fit ecode, nor will plug fit the ecode blinker socket, this a dealer item I can go pick up? Or is this a B5-B6 difference?
    TIA
Forgot to mention: Am I supposed to have an xtra flat plug inside the houseing? (Cant seem to find where it goes or what its for) And w/ the city light wiring I got, I got 2 yellow wires, but I dont see a need for those either, I'm guessing Valeo wireing already takes care of that?

What ecodes did you get? The Valeo ones are not plug n'play with the Bosch plug. I'm not sure where, but someone sells the adapters. I'm sure you'll find it if you search here or on AW.

I got mine from ProCarParts.com and they were plug n'play, but they were not Valeo.

The US corner lamp bulb holder differs from the euro harness, because we use dual filament bulbs (since we have parking lights+turn signals) and they use single filament bulbs (just turn signals). You can either buy a euro harness from ECS or maybe SPP, OR you can just cut off one of the 3 tabs on the US harness. Make sure you cut the right one, as only 2 of them will line up with the slots on the ecodes. Obviously make sure you grind off the tab that does not line up. Many people take this route instead of buying the euro holder, with this modification the US bulb holder will lock in to the ecode corner housing perfectly.

Not sure what you mean about the flat plug though. You bought the xenon housings right? that plug might be for the autoleveling motors which your car isn't wired for.

The yellow wires are for the citylights. You connect the yellow wire to the thinest wire on your corner lamp harness and plug it into the main headlight harness. For more specific directions, check out Mark P's website. I'll see if I can find it

I didn't even have to cut mine, just took a little fiddling and coaxing.

You don't have to cut them. Line up the two tabs that fit first. Insert them and rotate to fit the last tab. These are for the Valeo Ecodes.

Sweet, thanks, if you find the write up for city lights that would be cool, but I think it looks pretty straight forward, just going to splice it into parking lights I think. Think I'll test wires w/ power on, but on Pass side 3 wires, Red/white-Brown-and Green/Black, drivers side has Wht/w/ blk strip-Brown-and Blk/w/ wht stripe.
