The Only 2004 A8!!!

I think I may be the only person on the planet who purchased a 2004 A8.

Why are there so many Audi forums with so little traffic? Is there a large one that I am missing? AZ seems to be the largest. I have owned a number of cars and every one had a very populated forum that I could log onto and talk about cars.

I'm really having a hard time talking with people on the A8. Does anyone own one of these? Does anyone have the XM, phone system or TV installed?

Please don't tell me about how your Mom got one or how you saw one at the dealership and think it's awesome.

sorry, in all the audi forums I know of, it always seems like the A8 ones only get a bit of traffic. it's possible this is because not too many people have them as compared to A4/S4, or it could be due to the mindset of the average owners of different cars.

I'm pretty sure the majority of A8 owners do not spend all day on the internet, that is why.

Looking at the price, it's safe to say that 'most' people buying an A8 are older, 50-60-70's. And in their age, they probly don't get on the internet much. And some of the ones that do, probly don't want to sit and talk about it on a forum. And then for those few that are online, and want to talk about it, and to stumble across AZ, its easy to see why the A8 forum isn't hoping.

It's just the demographic the A8 catches....

There's nothing wrong with the internet, hes only saying that compared to the number of A4's and S4's the A8 is a very rare car.
Information is hard to come by on the internet because most people who buy the A8 aren't looking to mod it and just use it as comfortable transportation without really caring about how to make it better or caring much about the car in general.

Though the very few of those cars that I've seen make me absolutely love them.

I think one reason for the lack of traffic regarding the A8 forums as such is that these forums are mostly populated by automobile enthusiasts and the average A8 driver does not usually fall into said category. Whether or not A8 drivers "spend all day on the internet" is not really a valid point as internet use and Audi forum browsing are not necessarily one and the same.

Regardless, feel free to ask your questions about the A8. There are likely other A8 drivers browsing but not posting, so maybe some will come out of the woodwork.

there's 3 people around me that own the new A8. they're about 50+ and they dont seem to be into modding. i'm sure the one housewife has all the time in the world to search the internet, but i bet she'd rather be out spending her husbands money!
