has anyone done a 5 gas emission test on their car?
i did one the other day and she looks like she is running pretty lean about 17:1 at idle but backs off closer to 15:1 at 2500rpm. all tests were taken on an unloaded engine (in neutral).
everything else seemed ok (HC's, CO, CO2- could be a little higher, and ofcourse no NOX-engine with no load)
i used a MODIS snap-on scanner with OBDII generic software and wasnt pulling any engine codes. what confused me was that the SFTF and LTFT showed slightly negative readings, (reducing fuel).
i have a rough idle, but it goes away in nuetral with any application of throttle. the boost gauge measures 21-22 in/hg, no apparent leaks. i took it to the dealer, and in 3 weeks they returned the car to me with no answers.
what are the specs?
i have giac x chip. is it time to think about getting bigger injectors or a fuel rail?
any thoughts here fellas?
