I picked up some new (used) 17" wheels today. I used to have 18" wheels but I don't think 17" looks bad either. I took some pics...let me know what you guys think!

lol yeah, the wheels are somewhat BMWish but I plan to have the spokes painted black while leaving the lips polished.

Thanks! I'm runing Intrax ARS coilovers, my car is too low and I scrape everywhere. I plan on raising it maybe 1/4". It doesn't look low in the pictures but in person my tires are tucked slightly.

azndrunk, is that the s4 grille? is it entirely black (the inside gills) w/ the black surround or did you maybe paint that? do you have any upfront pics of the grille?

alen: The S4 grill I have just has the outer trim painted black. I actually don't like the S4 grill but I've been too lazy/broke to buy a nicer/different grill. You don't want to see the upfront pics, the black paint is chipping badly =[.

the reason i'm asking is: i have that grille too but i'd rather prefer it be black. so i was thinking of painting the surround with black primer but i dunno how it will look like. that's why i need to see your pic.

I always like the Avantegarde bumper. Not too common. I liked your black rims better though...it matched the hood. Nice Color too!

Why did you drop down to 17"s? Shouldnt the trend be bigger(unless you race).

I plan on painting the centers black and leaving the lip polished. My old wheels were 18's with gunmetal centers and polished lip, I think black would look much better once I get around to gettin it done. I got a deal on these 17's I couldn't pass up, if I get 18's I would want some BBS CH's .

Uhmmm...the hood isn't painted. It's just a regular CF hood with clearcoat.

It's a neuspeed vinyl sticker. I used it to cover some scratches on my CF hood.

lol, the usual comments from you =]. The quality of my old 18's weren't as good, I had them for 1k miles and the gunmetal paint was already chipping. The lip was dinky compared to these 17's hehe. I'll post pics when I get the centers powdercoated black...let me know what you think then =P

Yup, they are 17x8 fittipaldi force rims.

I think ya need some side skirts and a rear valance bro. The painted stock lowers was a nice try but it ain't cutting it. The front hangs so much lower than the rest, looks tacky. But the rest of the car looks really nice!

I'm going to keep the rear valence stock. For the sides I'm contemplating V1, BBR, or S4.

ur car is looking pretty sweet. i think you should get some sides though, since from the profile view it looks like the front hangs a bit lower than the rest. aside from that, rock on!
