the drops is as low as i could go without any tuck and any major rubbing. now rubbing only on big dips, not to bad.

I agree, and was about to ask the same thing.

Our cars underrsteer like a BIATCH, I can barely attempt to throw out the rear end w/ my stock 235's. You want some kind of oversteer in any car, especially on our bland and boring audi's, I just dont understand the "staggered" setup on the A4's for no other than it looks pretty badass, and kills your wallet, not to mention the extra weight. Can someone please chime in to explain it to myself and OverSpun?

I'm running ~45psi in my rears, drive like a BITCH, and I still cant break traction in the rear... I'd perhaps go to 195's in the rear

you said it it looks bad ass. our boring and slow audi's, as you always say can looks good. why not give it that look. you can put rear sways on to have less of an understeer. stiffen coilovers helps the understeer problem as well.

I've went a little safer with 245s on 19x8s and this is now my second set of aftermarket wheels. But I have to say after seeing Jdubs setup, makes me want to start looking again because I love seeing a lot of tire from the back and if you get lip with that, all the better as long as it doesnt feel like I have added 500 pounds to the car.

yeah the car is pretty much just for leisure driving, i don't think i would ever track the car, and if i was to track it I would have a separate set of wheels, but since i have no desire to....well you get the point

but as far as G_A4 said, I've got H-Sport Sways on and the Koni coilovers and it helps alot, even to the point to where i don't feel any understreer. I had some rubbing issues when we first put the coilovers on, but we raised it up a bit and they are all but gone, except for some hard dips/potholes.

it looks awesome having a staggered setup, but by going with that setup makes rotating your tires a bitch.... you'd have to either unmount and remount/rebalance all the time, or you'd have to just run them to hell and end up changing out all 4 because you'd have that whole issue of different rolling diameters all over again. having equal-sized dish and width on both front and rear isn't that bad either.

You are never going to break the rear end loose with the stock sway bars. The car is designed from the factory for understeer and you cannot use the throttle to change that with Quattro. The only fix is a larger rear sway bar.

that my friend is your clear coat and paint heating up and cracking what size are you running? and what's your offset? I'm watching the rear of our avant to for anything resembling rubbing on the metal portion of the fender.

I don't understand how you people run that wide with the car lowered? I am lowered on neuspeed RACE springs with 245s and I had rubbing problems so I rolled the fenders. I can't imagine how the hell I would run anything wider...? HOW DID YOU GUYS DO IT?!

Why would anyone put 265s on the rears with quattro? Even funnier if youput 265 in the rear if you had FWD.
