Front Lip Question

does anyone know if a lip made for an '01 jetta (I think its made by Landspeed) would fit my 98.5 A4? Or if it could be modified to do so? Help is greatly appreciated.

I'm sure it can be modified to fit, but it will probably cost more than you'd like. Unless it's very cheap or you're in love with the lip I'd suggest something like the Rieger trpe r lip or oettinger lip.

OK so if this is even remotely possible i would give it a try because i think i can get the lip for $50 or even free...so if anybody has any clue I would really appreciate the help

It's not going to fit and certainly not worth what it would cost to get a shop to fit it.

I believe the lip looks very similar to yours, Evil. Not 100% sure though...

its. possible but it will definitely cost alot unless you know somebody or possibly do it yourself. if it is plastic there are good products out there to bond and fill (not bondo) the pcs. together. email me at [email protected] if you have any questions i will see if i can point you in the right direction. pics would help also.

waste of time bro. there are many other options and styles out there that would suite the look of your a4 much beter than something made for a jetta would look. that bumper was specificaly custom formulated for the lines and the shape of a jetta. what makes you think it would even look good on an a4. Check out this link from audiworld. has many different options for front bumpers and various lips made available for the a4. i hope this helps.

Thanks to everyone for advice...couple more questions: Anyone know where I can find the Oettinger lip and the JDM lip pictured on that body kit data base. I checked the Oettinger web site and could not find that lip pictured. I'm also now leaning toward the Reiger Type R lip because I like its look, plus it seems like a great deal from LLtek for only $333 painted...Which leads me to my last question. I read somewhere that someone had REALLY bad luck in dealing with LLtek, their order came much later than originally promised, and the paint job (on mirrors they ordered) came out terribly. If anyone has any feedback about this I would appreciate that. And I could also not find shipping rates on their site so help there would be great too...I know i've been a pain in the ass but again all help is greatly appreciated.
