    Talking Few of the many ALMS and Speed car pictures (B5 related) HOT

    It was a great weekend heading back to OR to watch the ALMS and Speed Cars. It was VERY hot Friday and Saturday as temperature got up to 110F+ and down on the track it was around 140F. Pobst took 2nd and Galati i think 8th or 9th in Speed GT, JJ Lehto and Werner took 1st in ALMS after having many incidents with backmarkers and stop and go in the pits! Got a chance to talk to Randy Pobst after the race, very cool and easy going guy. Also talked with a couple tech/ppl at the ADT Champion R8s before the race down at the grid. Champion girl was fun to talk to and she is so sweet and hot

    Love the ALMS and Speed world Challenge. Hope it catches on in the US. Although Infineon had the largest ALMS gathering with Dale Ernhart Jr. it still was pretty weak compared to the sold out NASCAR event a month earlier.

    Great pics. I have several that look very similar.

    I'll be there at Petit LeMans in September @ Road Atlanta! I can't wait! By far, the best racing in America right now. Been to Road Atlanta for the past 3 years. Don't plan on stopping any time soon either....

    Yea, i went back in 2000, but ppl i guess not too interested in them and only about 7000 showed up. This yr it was different, est. 15000 was there. Hope they have it next yr again!

    Get the word out! We need more people at these events. More people means more cars and better racing. Thereis talk of some rule changes to bring more manufatures, more sports cars, better teams etc.
