I still don't think that is an everyday car. After riding in a few it was just too uncomfortable for me. Other than that you'll find the aftermarket world is your friend

Honestly, (and I don't mean to be rude, just asking) how much need do you have for quattro in Iowa?

Quattro/4x4 is a necessity here. We have a hell of alot of snow in the winter, expecially last winter. Quattro seriously is the greatest 4 wheel drive ever invented. my car is slammed so low that when It snows to inches i plow the street... :) Never gotten stuck though :)

i guess if you have the money to have both then..i mean sounds like u have the best of both worlds with the audi 1. its baller 2. its great in the snow...your only paying 1 insurance and 1 car payment with the S ull obviously be paying more insurance for a 2 door sports coupe and insurance and car payments on your 2nd winter driver, the audi seems more cost efficient

If I was in the market for a 2 seat sports car,, the S2000 would just not be on the list. Don't know why, they just don't do anything for me. To each his own though.

For the price of that S2000, you could get a 300ZX TT that will pretty much eat anything on the road.

Whynot? S2000's are one of the highest rated hp/liter production cars on the road, plus the handling is incredible. Go check out s2ki.com to see if you'd like it. Theres also lots of turbo upgrades and such and some s2000's pumping out some serious hp.

Fun whip, but couldn't turn over the Quattro for one. The A4 is great year round, and until I can have it and a sports car like that those will have to wait.

it's like you all think that only car i've driven my entire life is an A4 Quattro! Let me tell you this, in the middle of summer I'd love to let my ass end out around a sharp curve than have massive oversteer, but yes, the winters will be completely different

Couldn't agree more, but like I said, couldnt' let the Quattro go for winters. I spend too many hours driving through the winter, nothing compares.

If you are serious about the S2000, look into the '04 model. There's a little more torque down low, but it only revs to 8k and not 9. All other previous years had nothing below 6k, so you had to wind her up. Read up on the Honda boards and you will find a lot of useful information. My buddy is turning in his A4 for an S2000 because it suits his lifestyle. Get which ever car makes you happy.

I'd say go for it... and then pick up a beater truck to get around in the snow, as great as our quattros are, unless u have an s4, i think you'll enjoy driving in a s2000 more, i know i would but then agian i live in sunny cali.

also what evil said, s2000 is more like a weekend car, not as comfortable.

but as far is 2 seaters go, 350z drop top can also be had.
