i think it just means someone tried stealing it, but they weren't able to get it, hence its "safe".

Press and hold RDS and AS together, find your 4-digit unlock code, and enter it, and again hold RDS and AS.

Standard Windows troubleshooting 101. Your radio crashed.

    Pulled the fuse to reboot.

What he said... your code should be in your manual...

This happens when the battery is disconnected as well. Good to make sure you have that code before disconnecting.

Since we are talkin bout radios, are these things known to change volume by themselves? I know about the Gala setting that automatically adjusts the sound level as the outside noise/speed increases but my shiat just changed on its own the other day, twice. Same with my climate control. It just cut all the way off and then back on and it was on the econo setting, I never use a/c unless I am in traffic.

We not only have have radios and a/c's that do weird things... our windows and sunroofs also have a mind of their own and decide to open and/or close at the most inappropriate times.

the sunroof is a known problem. a bad potentiometer or something in the switch. i already had mine replaced and no more strange sunroof issues.
