Tv/dvd 2004 A8

Sorry if this is the wrong forum. The other ones don't seem to get as much traffic.

I'm looking for info on turning on the TV/DVD system on my U.S. 2004 A8.

Would also love info on getting the handfree phone to work as well as XM radio.

I did a search for these topics and found nothing.

What you mean you can't turn it on, look at the manual, and show pics of that beast.

Thanks for Replying. I looked at the manual. That's not the issue. Even the dealership told me that it's a euro thing and not meant for the U.S. Has to be a way to turn it on. I'm really surprised at how little anyone knows about this car. The service guys at the dealership also know very very little.

I would post pics but they are already all over the internet. It is silver with black interior. All options and even has the solar sun roof which actually works really well. It is by far the nicest car I have ever driven.

it's most likely blocked due to the legal peeps at audi...i'm sure there's a code that will turn it on...problem w/ our cars is that as it gets more advance they tend to lock things out for the consumer.

try vagcom they might be able to look around (in the car's ecu/various modules) to help you out
